Malachite, fake or real

Probably one of the most copied - poorly copied - crystal out there, due to its powerful abundant properties, gorgeous vibrant green colours, Malachite's attraction is understandable.

Known for creating abundance, prosperity, upgrading the Heart chakra energy into the Higher Heart chakra subsequently encouraging living in your soul path frequency, Malachite invites wearers to follow their Divine calling with a heartfelt passion, fervour, conviction and truth, an honest, ethical road through life.

It's no surprise there are many fakes. Look out for clear black lines in copied versions, a dull paste finish, lightweight and perfectly round beads. Originals are heavier, devoid of black striations choosing gentler green hue'd lines mixed with coral striations.

Malachite is widely copied, and often very expensive to buy I'm told. Price isn't always a measure of authenticity or quality.
